So it wants them to click on the first three sites, and to get the highest quality and most accurate content. Authority. Google will crawl your site, to see if you know what you are talking about. And Google's AI probably knows more about your subject than you do. So don't cut corners with your content. You may think its fine, but Google will know. And you'll be penalised. Think of the customer too. Give them exactly what they are looking for. You have a few seconds to impress them before they leave. Targeted content, aimed at your exact customer demographic will keep them on your page. They don't need to know you have exactly what they need, but they need to think its possible. Find out your customer's intent, what they want to achieve. Then write content that shows they are in the right place. Know who your customers are. Know what they want. Know what motivates them. When they visit your website, everyone is at a different stage of the buyers journey. The person at the start of the journey needs different content to the person at the end of the journey. You need to write content for each stage.
There are four stages in the journey / Awareness - The customer is a stranger / Consideration - The customer visits your site - research / Decision - He is now a lead, and about to be a buyer / Delight - He is now a buyer, and about to be a promoter Each stage involves different emotional content, and different psychological processes. In the first stage, you need to attract the buyer, so you tend towards emotional content. Once they have visited the site, and are considering your service or product, they need to be gently guided. Once they have made a decision, you need to create a sense of urgency. Seal the deal. Its done. Identify your customer. Guide him. You got this ? |
